A large quilt design wall is a hanging fabric panel where you arrange quilt blocks before sewing them together. Seeing the whole layout upright lets you check colour balance, value and block placement, and move blocks around until the quilt top looks right.
Choose 106″ × 60″ if you make large or sampler quilts, or want room for two projects side by side. Choose 60″ × 72″ if you have a taller, narrower wall or mostly make lap, throw and twin quilts, which fit on it in full.
The black grid has evenly spaced lines plus diagonal guides, which help you space blocks, keep rows straight and line up on-point settings. The blank version gives a plain white background that keeps all the attention on your fabric colours.
Yes. Cotton quilt blocks cling to the soft fabric surface, so you can place, move and rearrange them without pins. Very heavy or slippery fabrics may need a pin or two.
